Fundraiser for Assemblyman David Weprin
Big I Tri-County is hosting a breakfast fundraiser with special guest Assemblyman David Weprin, Chair of the Assembly Insurance Committee.
First elected in 2010, Assemblyman Weprin represents the 24th Assembly District in Queens, the same district represented by his father, the late Assembly Speaker Saul Weprin, for 23 years and his brother Mark Weprin, for over 15 years. Weprin was named chair of the Assembly Insurance committee in 2023. The committee has jurisdiction over all legislation affecting the insurance law. Assemblyman Weprin has co-sponsored and voted in support of legislation to end mandatory pre-insurance photo inspection and sponsored bills to end misleading insurance pricing practices and eliminate the State Insurance Fund’s unfair advantage in the workers’ compensation market.
Every dollar counts as Big I NY’s Independent Agents Political Action Committee (IAPAC) actively fights to protect Independent Agents and their business. Your support allows IAPAC to do more locally and in Albany.
Attendees are asked to make either a $99 contribution to IAPAC or to Assemblyman Weprin’s campaign.
